TENETS OF FAITH

THE BIBLE

We beleive that the Holy Bible is the infallible word og God, interrant in its original manuscripts, and devine in its authority and standard for every age. (II Tim. 3:16-17; II Peter 1:21).

GOD

We believe in the Trinity, that there is one God who exists and reveals Himself in three persons, Father, Son , and the Holy Spirit. (Mat. 3:16-17, Jn. 10:30; II Cor. 13:14) We believe that all three persons of the Trinity are equal, and gave the same nature and attributes, and are worthy of worship.

1. God the Father: We beleive that God the father is the absolute Creator and sustainer of the unverse, the first person of the trinity, and that from nothing he created everything by his command. ( Gen. 1:1-3; Jn. 1:3).

2. God the Son (Jesus Christ): We believe Jesus Christ was fully man and fully God. He was born of a virgin through the Holy Spirit and lived a sinless life. That he was crucified, He was buried, but resurrected, ascended and sits in heaven at the Father's right hand, He is  the second person of the Godhead.

3. God the Holy Spirit: We believe that the holy spirit is the third person of the Godhead that he convicts of sin indwells believers at the moment of thier salvation, causing them to become children of God. That he can transform all believers into Christ;s linkeness as they submit to him. (Jn. 16:7-11; I Cor. 6:19; 12:13; Eph. 1:3). 

MAN

We believe that man was created in God's image and likeness, but that through Adam's sin, man became a sinner with a sinful nature, alienated from God and that without God, amn is unable to get out of his fallen state. (Jn. 14:6, Acts 4:12, Rm. 3:22-24)

SALVATION

We believe that salvation is a gift from God and is available to all through personal faith and submission to Jesus Christ. That salvaion cannot be earned, regardless of who you are or what you have done. It is a gift from God freely offered to all. (Acts 13:38-39; Rom. 4:5; Eph. 2:8-9)

THE CHURCH

We believe that the true church is composed of all persons who are regenerated by the Holy spirit, who abide in Jesus Christ, the head over the church that the church is commisioned by christ witness to the world of his love, that through worship, fellowship, evangelism, mission, discipleship, the use of spiritual gifts, and God's love, the church will grow and continue its work until Christ returns. ( Matt. 16:18, 28:19-20; Acts 2:42-47)

ORDINANCE

We believe that a christain should walk after the Spirit with the goal of conforming to the image of Christ by obeying the teaching of Christ. We believe thatby obeying the Holy Spirit, believers learn to grow in faith, obedience, prayer, fellowship and a life of service to God. (Jn. 14:15; Gal. 5:16-26; Rom. 8:29; Eph. 4:20-24)

THE SECOND COMING

We believe that Christ will come again to bring this age to an end, and usher in the Eternal kingdom of God. We believe that there will ne a bodily resurrection of the dead, with believers being resurrected to eternal glory and rest with God in heaven, unbelievers will face judgement and eternal punishment with the devil and his angels in hell. (Mat. 25:33-34; 41-46; I Cor.15:51-52; I Thess. 4:13-18; Rev. 20:11-15)
